Why do people cry?
I glanced up and sigh
Was it like the rain
Falling in disdain?

A chance to let it out
Feelings you want to shout
Pain in the heart
And being torn apart

Tears endlessly fall down
A smile turned into a frown
Drowning in dark sorrow
Hoping for light tomorrow.

The Plane *NEW*

Sitting on the plane,
Feeling all the pain
Of leaving you behind
Sadness is all I find.

All I can think of
When I flew off
Was our happy times
And jolly smiles

Drifting in the sky
Clouds passing by
Baby, you're all I see
My angel I miss thee

I can't wait for my return
Back in your arms I turn
My heart longed so much
Your kiss and gentle touch.

Missing You

I’m missing you badly
I can’t take this lightly
You keep running on my mind
But you’re nowhere to find

I longed for your kisses
Sweet and leaves me breathless
Your hugs so warm and tight
Embracing my heart with your light

It breaks my heart
When we are apart
My heart’s been looking for you
Seeking, but there’s no clue

Please take me away with you
My love for you stays true

Manila Girl

A little pretty lady,
flew all the way from Manila,
and she landed in the shores,
of the very kiasu Singapura.

She seems rather lost,
for it been only 5months here,
everything looks different,
everything looks queer.

Her name is beautiful,
and so is her character,
her name is simply Kimberly,
you will never forget her.

Shes full of life shes full of fun,
u would want to know her more,
she's every bit special,
a girl worth dying for.

She lives in simplistic Toa Payoh,
like a rose in a plot of weed,
she surely stands out,
from the rest indeed.

One feature of hers
that I'll never forget,
is her ever pretty smile,
if u missed it, you'll regret

Even in one poem,
i was simply so touched,
I even called it a wrong title,
it made her laugh so much. (haha)

well the most important thing,
about this friendly little pinay,
shes a poetic friend of mine,
thats all i have to say!

First Time

The first time I saw you
The feeling seem so pure and true
Your hugs as warm as your heart
Made me feel loved right from the start.

You took me to places unknown
The time, so quickly away it flown
The majestic ambiance of the calm river
Being with you gives me that sweet shiver

The time is getting near
Your leaving is what I fear
I hope you'll not forget
Memories with you, I never regret.

Raindrops

Raindrops of loneliness
You bring too much distress
Cloudbursts so poignant
I try to avoid, but still I can't.

"O vicious rain,
please stop", I complain
You always remind me of my grief
You stole my bliss, you're like a thief.

The agony brought by the rain
Being alone and wet is such a pain
Carries pictures of life's hopelessness
Makes me sob, "Oh! I'm such a mess"

Loneliness as bleak as rain
Tears streaming down the drain
Emotions so livid like the gray sky
Too dark, my soul can't fly

The sound of its downpour
Drowns my heart so poor
Longing to see that rainbow
That precious sunshine would finally show.

Delusion

There's no inspiration
For this poem to endure;
All of this sad delusion,
Sick and tired of this torture.

All those ideas flowing,
Roaming around my mind;
Seem to stop pouring,
Words seem hard to find.

Open my mind up
And save my heart as well;
Away from this endless trap,
It's end, no one can tell.
