Raindrops

Raindrops of loneliness
You bring too much distress
Cloudbursts so poignant
I try to avoid, but still I can't.

"O vicious rain,
please stop", I complain
You always remind me of my grief
You stole my bliss, you're like a thief.

The agony brought by the rain
Being alone and wet is such a pain
Carries pictures of life's hopelessness
Makes me sob, "Oh! I'm such a mess"

Loneliness as bleak as rain
Tears streaming down the drain
Emotions so livid like the gray sky
Too dark, my soul can't fly

The sound of its downpour
Drowns my heart so poor
Longing to see that rainbow
That precious sunshine would finally show.
